What is it?
Our comfrey ointment is a traditional, slow-absorbing topical remedy. Its "Slow Skin Care" approach keeps active ingredients localized, forming a protective barrier while delivering nourishing benefits to your skin.
We make our ointment using a slow infusion of certified organic comfrey root in certified organic olive oil, complemented by locally sourced, low-heated beeswax. We choose the root over the leaves due to its higher concentration of beneficial compounds and compliance with Australian regulations on comfrey usage.

Note: We use only the root in our ointment, as the leaves are more suited for compresses and poultices. Comfrey leaf contains fewer concentrated compounds but offers additional antioxidant benefits. Please avoid internal consumption of comfrey leaf due to safety concerns.
