Even Costa loves our Reuse Packaging System. After a great impromptu chat about the worlds  packaging crises and awful green washing, we went down to our Lab and showed him around, was awesome for him to be the first to see it, totally not a organised "promotion" so it was so amazing that he wanted to check it all out.

When we first started we firstly chose the right packaging that was best recycled in Australia with the plan that we wanted to somehow reuse them.

- Glass - goes to road base in Australia
- Aluminum - is the most easiest to harvest from rubbish and reuse into consumer consumption.

We have worked with many environmentalist to try and find out what the very best way we can take responsibility of our packaging and make a real difference and become a leader.

So many skin care business have green washing terminology we found out.
It was so very confusing for us, so as consumers how on earth are we meant to navigate through all the B.S

GREEN WASHING Wordings to watch out for

- Plastics made with ex consumer plastic waste - We found out that only a small percentage of post consumer plastic can be used for it is weakened and needs virgin plastic to be added to strengthen them.

- Carbon neutral - means that the company have a certain amount of waste and they buy into a company that will often be planting trees to offset their environmental destruction, so therefore neutral, cant stand that one.

- Using words like our packaging is recycled - often means that YOU can pop it in the recycling bin at the consumers responsibility - good but not great - most people don't recycle we found & some councils just put it all into landfill anyway - its not a good system. The best recycling systems are those bins at the supermarkets where they pay you to return plastics.
