We know the cure is all in the cause, once we determine the cause we can treat that and deal with the symptoms, which are dry, swollen itchy skin.

Today is all about the symptoms
The dry red Itchy skin.
The fats in the upper layer - epidermis are being compromised - its the glue of the skin - we can replace it with
- medicated baths
- Oil rubs
- Compresses

The main hero here is the age old remedy called “colloidal oatmeal”Avena sativa
It is basically oats ground into a powder - very common in older recipes for itchy dry skin in cosmetic creams, that softens or soothes the skin
It’s considered an emollient because its packed with fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals, and nutrients.
In fact, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officially categorized colloidal oatmeal as a skin protectant in 2003

Recipe 1 Bath Soak
-  Add whole, uncooked raw certified organic Oats to a food processor, coffee grinder, or blender.
- Pulse it until it resembles a fine, off-white powder.
- To test if its ground finely enough, mix about 1 tablespoon into a little water. The water should turn milky white. If not, simply grind the oats further.

Sprinkle about 1 cup of the oat powder for an adult and a ¼ cup for a baby/child into lukewarm water and soak in it for 10–15 minutes.

Be sure your bath isn’t too hot, as this can cause more dryness or irritation. Oatmeal can make your bathtub slippery, so take extra caution when you or your child step out of the tub.

This is something to choose to do, if the skin is broken and there is concern of infections dab the certified organic witch hazel onto a makeup pad remover and apply only to the affected areas, it may sting a little

Within 3 minutes of getting out of the bath apply your ready made oil to the affected areas to lock in the fats and the moisture.
Before you hop in the bath prepare
Blend all these oils in a blender to break down the solidified coconut oil and pour into a separate bottle.
