For example - Farmers or land owners may have parts of their property that is un loggable due to being on a slope or waterway. This land can never be cleared so they can actually sell that concept to a company that pollutes the environment as "carbon Credits" so on paper it looks like they are doing good, but in realism they are taking from one hand and giving to the other.
