The main hero here is the age old remedy called “colloidal oatmeal”Avena sativa
It is basically oats ground into a powder - very common in older recipes for itchy dry skin in cosmetic creams, that softens or soothes the skin

Recipe 1 Bath Soak
- Add whole, uncooked raw certified organic Oats to a food processor, coffee grinder, or blender.
- Pulse it until it resembles a fine, off-white powder.
- To test if its ground finely enough, mix about 1 tablespoon into a little water. The water should turn milky white. If not, simply grind the oats further.
HOW TO USE
Sprinkle about 1 cup of the oat powder for an adult and a ¼ cup for a baby/child into lukewarm water and soak in it for 10–15 minutes.
CAUTIONS
Be sure your bath isn’t too hot, as this can cause more dryness or irritation. Oatmeal can make your bathtub slippery, so take extra caution when you or your child step out of the tub.
