What is Insect Repellent - For Mozzies?
Keep mozzies at bay with our Insect Repellent. A small amount goes a long way. All you have to do is pop a small amount onto your hottest points, rub it in, and those bugs won't bother you again. We have been gathering natural ingredients and refining our formula for more than a decade in order to give you the best possible protection from mozzies. We are proud of our product and thrilled to hear the positive responses it receives from our customers.

Usage Tips:

Apply directly to your heat points—behind your ears, wrists, the backs of your knees, and your ankles.
Depending on how active you are, you may like to reapply after several hours.
The reason for this is that essential oils evaporate and emit their fragrance from the body’s heat points, which is what gives you the protection

Why Use a cream?

Creams contain essential oils for good dispersal; sprays have chemicals to disperse/suspend essential oils.

Aqua (Water), We use ionized rain water (caught in our stainless steel food grade tank) set at the Perfect PH for your skin, which is slightly Acid.
The water is used for our infusion of Herbs, Certified organic herbs, grown by Saarinen Organics AKA us! certification 19060 of -

Glycerin - Certified Organic Glycerine, derived from Flaxseeds, Palm Free. - ACO 10282P.

Emulsifying wax - is derived from plant-based alcohols and sugars, Cetyl and stearyl alcohol both come from the natural fatty acids found in coconut oil.

Olive oil - Olea europaea, cold pressed, Olive Extra Virgin Certified Organic Vegetable Oil - ACO 10282P

Lavender essential oil - Lavender angustifolia - Local Biodynamically grown -Mt Darragh Lavender farm

T-tree essential oi - Melaleuca alternifolia - Certified Organic Essential Oil - ACO 10282P

Citronella essential oil -Cymbopogon winterianus Jowitt- Lemon grass - Certified Organic Oil - ACO 10282P

Preservatives - Styrax Benzoin Gum - dried out gum from the Styrax Benzoin tree.

Preservative - Australian certified organic approved trademarked ingredient (we cannot use the name of the product due to copy right) made from a vegetable based preservative with a Vanilla and Almond aroma used to preserve cosmetic formulations, providing good product stability and resistance to microbial contamination. Being a natural preservative it also accommodates consumer demands for naturally derived cosmetic ingredients and preservative free products.

Our cream bases
At Saarinen Organics, we make our own cream base to protect the integrity of our products, so you and I can be sure exactly what goes in it. Also I formulate each individual product in accordance to the consistency of the natural ingredients. No batch is exactly the same so there may be variants in color, texture, consistency and smell - that's the nature of natural ingredients

Many products contain active ingredients combined with a cream base purchased somewhere else.

Campers dream insect repellent

Currently travelling around Aus camping & after being eaten alive in a bush camp for two days I booked a hotel room for a few days in Eden. Went to the visitors centre & bought this with the thoughts that it probably wouldn't work. IT WORKS! I can get into my van full of mozzies & they will not touch me & soon enough they find somewhere else to go. Sprays make me feel sick so finding a natural product that works is essential for me. It is worth gold & I only wish I had bought the bigger bottle. Will be sure to buy more when I can. Back to enjoying bush camping. Thank you 💜

Oh faboulous to hear, I know right, so many products on the market but i have put alot of research into this cream to make sure it works. We are a out door family and it had to work because i was sick of the sprays as well. Fun fact sprays need a chemical inthem to suspend the active incredients, in a cream we can disperse them in very concentrated quantites without suspenidng chemicals xx

I am a total convert to the Saarinen Organics skin care!
After receiving a gift pack for Xmas from my young daughter (bought on the sly at a local market) I gave the cleanser, day face cream and body & hand cream a go. Loved them all so much I bought a toner from The Market Place in Bega.
The proof is in the pudding as they say, & after some great advice from Kay about how to use the products my skin is feeling fantastic. I love that what I am applying to my skin has been grown locally, organically AND totally works.
The insect repellant absolutely stops bites & the hypericum oil stops itches. The oil was shown to me by a friend who had great success with treating her four children’s mosquito bites!
I’ve had troubled skin and as I age it hasn’t settled the way I had hoped it would – until I started using the Saarinen Organic skin care. I feel like my skin is glowing, and I am so pleased I am using products that will not build up toxins in my body as I continue to use Kay’s beautiful products.
My teenage daughter is also enjoying the benefits of these products and as her hormones are naturally producing a lot of oil, these products are gentle but the pimple system is easy and effective 🙂 Thank-you Kay
