The Wonders of Stinging Nettle
Unveiling the Healing Powers of Stinging Nettle
Stinging nettle, also known as Urtica dioica, is a plant that holds a special place in herbal medicine. It is rich in nutrients, antioxidants, and bioactive compounds that offer a wide range of health benefits. Let's explore the key advantages of incorporating stinging nettle into your wellness routine:
Hormonal Balance and Menstrual Health
Stinging nettle has long been used to support women's hormonal balance and menstrual health. It contains compounds that help regulate estrogen levels, reducing the severity of menstrual symptoms such as cramps and bloating. By promoting hormonal balance, stinging nettle can contribute to a more comfortable and harmonious menstrual cycle.
Nourishing Hair and Skin
Stinging nettle is a fantastic ally for maintaining healthy hair and skin. Its rich nutrient profile, including vitamins A, C, and K, minerals like iron and silica, and plant compounds like quercetin, provide nourishment and promote vitality. When used in hair and skincare products, stinging nettle can improve scalp health, stimulate hair growth, and enhance the complexion, leaving you with lustrous locks and radiant skin.
Joint and Bone Health
The anti-inflammatory properties of stinging nettle make it an excellent choice for supporting joint and bone health. It has been traditionally used to alleviate symptoms of arthritis and rheumatism, reducing pain and improving mobility. By reducing inflammation and supporting bone density, stinging nettle helps keep your joints strong and flexible.
Immune Support
Stinging nettle possesses immune-enhancing properties, thanks to its high content of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. By strengthening the immune system, it can help ward off common illnesses and promote overall well-being. Including stinging nettle in your daily routine can be particularly beneficial during times of increased susceptibility, such as seasonal changes or periods of stress.
Harnessing Stinging Nettle in Tea
Sip Your Way to Wellness with Stinging Nettle Tea

Why is my hair frizzier than normal and my nails are cracked?
This is the questions that i have been asked of late…and i can resinate for this has been happening to me as well.
What is happening? Menopause- due the lack of estrogen.
What can we do to feed our system with silica
On the outside Rub in our seaweed hand cream to wet washed and conditioned hair as a leave in hair conditioner, for seaweed has a big component of silica. Rub it into your nails to stop them from cracking seaweed hand cream

Different scrub ingredients explained
We use JOJOBA wax beads – Jojoba wax beads to scrub the face are so gentle to clean out the pores, take off the dead skin cells and than they melt and moisturise – so you can use them daily
Nut shells – to harsh for the face, they will take off good skin as well as the dead skin so only once a month.
Sand – again far to harsh for the face
Plastic – never – they kill fish and pollute our oceans
We need to rid the dead skin cells so our night cream can actually soak in.
